Design Philosophy
We design spaces that are both functional and uplifting. We focus on how people interact with and feel in these spaces to ensure comfort and enjoyment. Sustainability is key in our work, with a commitment to using eco-friendly materials and energy-efficient solutions. We also tailor our designs to fit the local context, creating impactful and harmonious environments.
Community Engagement : We run the “LDC Architectural Research Foundation” to improve Indian communities through research-based sustainable solutions, campaigns, and literacy programs, currently focusing on smart villages in India.
Directors
Ar. Mahesh S. Bagul is a seasoned researcher and designer with a strong background in architecture. His expertise lies in addressing micro-level design issues, developing energy-efficient solutions, and managing and executing projects effectively. Based in Maharashtra, India, he has worked extensively in Mumbai, Pune, and Nashik.
Ar. Bagul’s academic career is highlighted by several medals earned at the graduate level. Over the past 16 years, his office has successfully completed more than 200 projects of various scales. His key interests include research and planning of architectural spaces and the history of modern architecture.
In addition to his professional work, Ar. Bagul has guided eight architectural graduation theses and has a deep passion for music. He has trained for two years in Indian Classical Music, focusing on playing the harmonium, a traditional percussion instrument
Ar. Asmita M. Deshmukh is a versatile and accomplished landscape and architectural designer with a solid foundation in architecture. Her experience spans various fields including landscape architecture, interior design, and jewellery design. Having worked on a diverse array of projects in cities such as Mumbai, Pune, and Nashik, she offers comprehensive design services across multiple disciplines.
Her expertise extends from creating elegant landscapes and innovative architectural solutions to intricate jewellery design and in-depth research. Her multidisciplinary approach allows her to blend aesthetics with functionality, making her a well-rounded professional in the design industry.
